Thermostatically controlled base heat suits a variety of food, though the minimum food holding temperature is 72°C. The Aluminum surface generates heat conduction and ensures optimum energy efficiency while the overhead lamps give them the best-lighted display apart from heating them from the top. These units can hold GN 1/1 for tempting displays of hot food directly from the oven. The robust stainless steel construction makes the heated display gantry unit hygienic and easy to clean. The Overhead gantry with halogen heat lamps gives an instant, appealing glow for an attractive display of open dishes. Lamps are easy to replace and can be switched off which is quite useful where covered dishes are occasionally served. The toughened glass sneeze screen avoids droppings and maintains food hygiene and safety. The Optional Bain Marie adaptor holds 2/3 GN containers for added flexibility.
