Terms and conditions of sale for online ordering

1 Delivery policy:

Delivery times stated on this site are for indication purposes only and may vary.

Delvo holds no responsibility, or is liable, for any compensation in case of deviations from the indicated delivery times.

All items are priced for box delivery only. This does not include unpacking, positioning, or assembly of items.

‘On-Site Services’ which includes unpacking, positioning, commissioning, warranty call out, and on-site training of your new product, are NOT included. These services can be added to your product at an additional cost.

Email or phone support is available during normal office hours.

We do not accept responsibility if the machine cannot fit through doors. It is the customer’s responsibility to check if the unit will fit.

If the delivery cannot be completed it is the responsibility of the customer.

Delivery of machines will be to the ground floor only & does not include negotiating steps, stairs, or a lift.

2 Shipping Costs:

All orders over the value of €200 inc. VAT is eligible for free shipping in the Republic of Ireland.

Orders under this value will be subject to a delivery charge of €30.75 inc. VAT.

Price will be determined for items purchased outside the Republic of Ireland on request.

3 Installation and user manual:

Always read carefully and abide by all the instructions contained in the manual. Professionally and authorized personnel is strictly required for the installation.

All appliances, extras, and spares must always be installed and used in compliance with the instruction and warnings which can be found in the user manual or installation drawings.

The customer is responsible for the proper installation and proper use of purchased items.

4 Warranty policy:

4.1 All units supplied by Delvo have at least a 1-year warranty on Parts & Labour. There are 2 x levels of warranty to choose

a:’On Site’ We will travel to your premises in the Island of Ireland mainland in the event of a warranty issue. If your premises is located on an Island off the coast of the mainland you will be subject to additional charges in the event of a warranty issue.

b:’Off Site’ In the event of a possible warranty issue the product must be brought to our premises on Malahide Road for assessment and/or repair.

4.2 ‘On Site’ Warranty will be covered if you select the service level ‘Unpacking, Assembly, Positioning, & On-Site Warranty

4.3 If you select the ‘Box Delivery Only’ service level, you will be then given the option for ‘On Site’, or ‘Off Site’ Warranty cover.

If you select ‘On Site’ then your cover will be as per Paragraph 4.1 a

If you select ‘Off Site’ warranty cover then the below bullet points will apply:-

  • In the event of a possible warranty issue, you can bring the item to our service center on Malahide Road for assessment and/or repair. The item will also need to be collected on completion of the works.
  • In the event of a request for an ‘On Site’ warranty call you will be subject to a once-off €150(inc VAT) call-out charge. This charge is non-refundable.
  • Following this one-off payment, the item in question will be covered as ‘On Site’ for the remainder of your warranty period

4.4 The warranty covers faultiness due to defective materials or manufacturing flaws. Warranty excludes consumable items such as door seals, air and water filters, bulbs, glass, and infrared elements.

4.5 The warranty covers are limited to the repair or replacement, including labor charges of defective parts. The seller reserves the right to complete the replacement of equipment.

4.6 Warranty calls will be made within 48 hours of notification, they would be carried out during normal working hours MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8 AM – 5.30 PM. This does not include Bank Holidays or Weekends.

4.7 Warranty calls for items will not be attended to on-site if the customer has chosen ‘Off Site’ when purchasing see paragraph 4.3


4.9 The warranty does not cover any economic loss, profit loss, or any indirect, consequential loss that occurred. The supplier or the manufacturer is not liable to compensate any of the loss apart from repairing the item under warranty terms.

5 The warranty is Null and void if:

In case of improper use, mishandling, or not installing as per the installation instruction.

Service work is undertaken by an unqualified or unauthorized person.

Repairs are made by using components not supplied or authorized by the manufacturer or seller.

In case of denial of the right to inspect equipment subjected to frequent failures and excessive warranty claims

Abusive (verbal or threatening) behavior by the customer

Equipment not paid for within the terms and conditions of the supply

The seller reserves the right to void labor warranty to the equipment sold outside Ireland and may charge thereof.

6 Return policy:

The customer can anytime return the goods if they are not satisfied within 30 days from the date of delivery.

After 30 days the company won’t accept any goods returned under any circumstances.

Our returns policy is a 10% restocking charge if items are unopened and packaging is intact. There would be a 25% restocking charge if the unit has been unpacked and not damaged or used in any way.

Charges for additional service levels are non refundable.

It is the responsibility of the customer to arrange for the item to be returned to our Malahide office


Caterbox Ireland is committed to meeting the requirements of the European Union (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations 2014. These Regulations require producers of electrical and electronic equipment to finance the takeback of WEEE resulting from products that we place on the Irish market. This helps us to ensure that WEEE is reused or recycled safely. In line with that commitment, Caterbox Ireland will take back WEEE from you free of charge.

You also have a role to play in ensuring that WEEE is reused and recycled safely. So, if you choose not to return WEEE to us then you should not dispose of it in your bin. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the product reminds users not to dispose of WEEE in the bin. You should ensure that the WEEE is collected separately and sent for proper treatment. WEEE contains hazardous substances and if not managed and treated safely it can cause pollution and damage human health.

7 Modification of Terms:

The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without any prior notice. Changed terms will become effective once posted on the Website, and will not have any retrospective effect on existing contractual arrangements made through this Website. Your continued use of this Website after any change means you have accepted the changed terms and conditions.

8 Indemnity: 

As a condition of use of this Website, you agree to indemnify us from and against any and all liabilities, expenses (including attorney’s fees), and damages arising out of claims resulting from your use of this Website, including without limitation any claims alleging facts that if true would constitute a breach by you of these terms and conditions.

9 Indemnity on the use of products purchased from our company:

All the products and their features are indicated by the manufacturers and mentioned on our website as per their guidelines and specifications.

The company holds no responsibility in case of any deviation of product or features as stated before or after the purchase of the product if so occurred.

Caterbox holds compensations and losses limited to the price of sales goods only provided all the terms and conditions were followed as stated on the company website. 

The company is liable to service, fix, repair, or get repaired the products sold by themselves and are under warranty.

In no case company is liable to compensate or replace the faulty item if it is repairable, however, the company out rightly rejects its liability and holds no responsibilities in any form in case of loss or void of warranty occurred due to lapse of time or mishandling.

This Website may contain links and pointers to Internet sites maintained by third parties.

We do not operate or control in any respect any information, products, or services on such third-party sites.

Third-party links and pointers are included solely for your convenience and do not constitute any endorsement by us. You assume sole responsibility for use of third-party links and pointers.

11 Limitations on Use:

You agree to use this Website solely to determine the availability of goods and services and make legitimate reservations or transact business with us. Also, you agree to use the Website only for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the Website’s services to make only legitimate purchases. You agree to all of our terms and conditions of purchase which include but are not limited to, full and timely payment of all amounts due and compliance with all rules concerning the availability of products, or services. All fees, assessments, charges, taxes, and duties arising out of the use of the Website are your sole responsibility.
